Safe facilitation is not built on charisma, credentials, or personal experience alone. It requires nervous-system stability, humility, sound judgment, ethical responsibility, and embodied presence. 5-MeO-DMT does not respond to charisma or credentials. It responds to nervous system stability, humility, and embodied presence. This medicine can dissolve identity structures in minutes, but insight alone is not the work. The work is safety. The work is integration. The work is learning to guide profound experiences without imposing your own story onto another person's journey. At Mindscape Psychedelic Institute, we train facilitators to screen participants responsibly, recognize trauma responses and nervous system dysregulation, understand nondual states without spiritual inflation, work within legal and ethical boundaries, and guide integration so insight becomes lasting embodiment. This is not a weekend certification. Our live six-month training is designed to develop competent, grounded facilitators through live instruction, mentorship, case consultation, and supervised professional development.

Facilitation begins with safety. Before altered states, we establish medical literacy, risk awareness, and emergency readiness.

  • Pharmacology and neurochemistry of 5-MeO-DMT
  • Medical and psychological contraindications
  • Screening and intake protocols
  • Emergency response procedures
  • Risk mitigation and harm-reduction frameworks

How This Program Works

The Training Container

For six months, you step into a committed, interactive cohort. You practice, receive feedback, and examine blind spots so you can remain steady when someone dissolves in front of you.

  • This is not a passive webinar. It is interactive, relational, and experiential.
  • You practice, receive feedback, and examine blind spots in real time.
  • The goal is practical steadiness when intensity rises in the room.

The Educational Framework

The curriculum blends nondual theory, trauma-informed facilitation, screening, nervous system literacy, ethics, somatic regulation, and integration methodology. You study independently, then apply in live sessions.

  • Theory of nondual states and ego dissolution
  • Screening, contraindications, and harm-reduction principles
  • Nervous system literacy, somatic regulation, and integration methodology
  • Self-paced recorded study reinforced through live application

Mentorship (Included)

After completing your live cohort, you receive six months of mentorship as you begin applying what you've learned. Case discussion, supervised development, and direct access to experienced facilitators help you transition into real-world practice.

  • Six months of mentorship included with your training
  • Direct access to experienced facilitators
  • Real case discussions and discernment refinement
  • Support as you begin facilitating in the real world

Certification Standards

Certification is earned through participation, demonstrated competency, and ethical alignment. Completion reflects readiness to serve within a professional standard, not simple attendance.

  • Certification is not automatic and not attendance-based
  • Participation, competency, and ethical alignment are required
  • Graduates step into a professional standard of care

Optional In-Person Experiential Intensive

Graduates and students who want to deepen their skills may attend our optional in-person Experiential Intensive. This immersive training provides supervised, hands-on experience observing and practicing facilitation while refining preparation, nervous system regulation, ceremony flow, trauma-informed presence, integration, and the subtle relational skills that can only be developed through direct experience.

  • Available to current students and program graduates
  • Supervised practice environment with experienced facilitators
  • Separate from core tuition — details shared after enrollment

Is This Program Right for You?

This program is designed for professionals and serious practitioners who feel genuinely called to responsible 5-MeO-DMT facilitation.

Great Fit If You

  • Are committed to a structured, year-long immersion with live participation
  • Want deeper clinical and ethical grounding for facilitation
  • Value supervision, case consultation, and professional accountability
  • Are willing to do sustained inner work to hold others safely

Not Ideal If You

  • Are looking for fast credentials or a weekend-style certification
  • Prefer passive learning without live feedback
  • Do not want ethical evaluation and competency standards
  • Are unwilling to engage long-term mentorship and apprenticeship

I went in expecting another certification checkbox. By month three I was rethinking how I run my own practice. Stephan's framework forced me to confront things about my facilitation style that no supervisor had ever named.

I'd done three other psychedelic trainings before this. None of them came close to the rigor and ethical grounding here. This is what the field needs.
