Certified 5-MeO-DMT / Bufo Facilitator Training

A 12-Month Immersive Training in Safe, Ethical, Trauma-Informed Facilitation

5-MeO-DMT does not respond to charisma. It does not respond to credentials. It responds to nervous system stability, humility, and embodied presence. This medicine is powerful. It can open identity structures in minutes and reveal what feels like infinity. But insight alone is not the work. The work is safety. The work is integration. The work is knowing how to guide someone through dissolution without imposing your own story onto their experience. Many people feel called to this path after their own profound encounter with the medicine. They sense the depth, the possibility, and the transformation. But facilitation is not about recreating mystical moments. It is about building the capacity to hold intensity without destabilizing yourself or your participant. At Mindscape Psychedelic Institute, we train facilitators to understand nondual states without spiritual inflation, screen participants responsibly, recognize trauma responses and nervous system dysregulation, work within legal and ethical boundaries, guide integration so insight becomes embodiment, and remain grounded before, during, and long after ceremony. This is not a weekend certification. It is a structured 12-month immersion: six months of live training and six months of mentorship with supervised development. We are not building personalities. We are building professionals. If you feel called to this work, the real question is whether you are willing to do the inner work required to hold others safely. Our next cohort begins May 2026.

I went in expecting another certification checkbox. By month three I was rethinking how I run my own practice. Stephan's framework forced me to confront things about my facilitation style that no supervisor had ever named.

Facilitation begins with safety. Before altered states, we establish medical literacy, risk awareness, and emergency readiness.

  • Pharmacology and neurochemistry of 5-MeO-DMT
  • Medical and psychological contraindications
  • Screening and intake protocols
  • Emergency response procedures
  • Risk mitigation and harm-reduction frameworks

Training Structure

We do not believe facilitation can be learned in a weekend. This training is a structured, long-term immersion with clear standards, real accountability, and ongoing community.

Program Focus

The Training Container

For six months, you step into a committed, interactive cohort. You practice, receive feedback, and examine blind spots so you can remain steady when someone dissolves in front of you.

  • This is not a passive webinar. It is interactive, relational, and experiential.
  • You practice, receive feedback, and examine blind spots in real time.
  • The goal is practical steadiness when intensity rises in the room.

The Educational Framework

The curriculum blends nondual theory, trauma-informed facilitation, screening, nervous system literacy, ethics, somatic regulation, and integration methodology. You study independently, then apply in live sessions.

  • Theory of nondual states and ego dissolution
  • Screening, contraindications, and harm-reduction principles
  • Nervous system literacy, somatic regulation, and integration methodology
  • Self-paced recorded study reinforced through live application

Mentorship and Apprenticeship

After live training, you enter a six-month mentorship period with case discussion, supervision, and direct access to experienced facilitators so the work becomes embodied, not conceptual.

  • Six-month mentorship phase after core live training
  • Direct access to experienced facilitators
  • Real case discussions and discernment refinement
  • Embodiment of the work, not just conceptual understanding

Certification Standards

Certification is earned through participation, demonstrated competency, and ethical alignment. Completion reflects readiness to serve within a professional standard, not simple attendance.

  • Certification is not automatic and not attendance-based
  • Participation, competency, and ethical alignment are required
  • Graduates step into a professional standard of care
